IIT Roorkee Alumni are coming to share their stories about how they took a different path and achieved their dreams .
These are the eight speakers for the event :
1.Divye Tela
Divye tela, is the Co-Founder , CMO School Search.IN and VP-Sales
Auriga Consulting Pvt Ltd.His interest lies in Corporate Branding, Visual
Communication Designs, Quality v/s Cost, Freshness & Innovation,
Round the Clock Customer Supportand In-time Deliveries. He has done
B.tech in Production & Industrial Engineering from IITR in 2006 batch.
He was a member of Program Management and was a Chairman of
SAE-IITR Students Chapter.
2. Ronak Singhavi
He is a Co-Founder and Director at Auriga IT Consulting Pvt. Ltd.and
was a manager of Cheese Corporate Care in Jaipur. He studied.
Electrical Engineering(2007) at Indian Institute of Technology
Roorkee.He took active part in both academic and non-academic
activities .
3. Mr. Gaurav Singh, Grassroot
He was Co-Founder and Director at Axis Techsoft Solutions Pvt.
Ltd. and also Consultant at Eduvisors. Currently , he is a partner at
Grassroot Infosolutions. He is a Chemical Engineer by qualification and
passionate about improving the education infrastructure in India. He
completed his B-tech from IIT Roorkee in 2009.
4.Pulkit Jain
He is a Founder & Director at Lakshya Institute and also
worked as a business analyst at Evalueserve.He has done B-
tech in Chemical Engineering from IIT Roorkee in 2005. He
received TATA NEN Hottest Startup.
5. Mr. Mayank Agarwal
He is a Co-Founder and Director at Ambicales Clean
Technologies Pvt. Ltd. He was a Team Mentor at Acara Institute ,
Secretary at Entrepreneurship Development Cell, IIT Roorkee and a
Memberof Marketing Team at Awaaaz.His experience also included
working as a long distance team member in a team spread out across
the globe.He has done his research Intern in Technical University of
Denmark and intern in All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS),
New Delhi . He completed his B-tech in Biotechnology from IIT Roorkee
in 2009. His interest areas were Bioinformatics, Biochemical engineering
& IPR.
He was a member of Thomso Organizing Committee of IITR.
6.Prasoon Gupta:
Prasoon Gupta ex-secretary of EDC , civil batch of 2009, had a tremendous
academic career with numerous non academic achievements.He began
Techbuddy Consulting Pvt. Ltd in December 2008, a socially responsible
company of dedicated people delivering quality learning for an educated
world.They envisage building a support system for the educational institutions,
making learning relevant for the students. It was awarded Lufthansa’s
Pioneering Spirit Award by ET NOW in Nov 2010 and it also featured
amongst the top 25 hottest startups by the Business World Magazine.
Prasoon presented his research at national and international levels
and was a part of the panel at various conferences. He took active
part in campus events also. He was the head of organizing committee
of Thomso 2007, Joint Secretary of Cognizance 2007 and Editor of
Institute
7. Mr. Satya Vyas
Satya vyas worked as a Field Engineer, at Schlumberger Oilfield
Services but to follow his passion in entrepreneurship, he left his job to
start Chai-Point . He completed his B tech in metallurgy and materials
engineering in the year of 2008. He took actively part in non academic
activities also. He represented IITR cricket team at the inter iit sports
meet and won two gold medals.He was also a member of EDC,IITR
and won Mr. Thomso award at the cultural festival of IITR. also Started
a social networking website zabraku.com, mainly dedicated to college
festivals.
8. Sumit Jain
He is a Co-Founder at Common Floor and at maxHeap Technologies
Pvt. Ltd. He completed his B-tech in Computer Science & Engineering
in 2006. He was a member Technical Staff at Oracle
Ltd., Bangalore. His interest lies in the field of People Management,
Technology and Operations.
