Samadhan - Introduction

Samadhan is a B-Plan Competition organized by Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) of STEP, IIT Roorkee, in its endeavour to promote social entrepreneurship. It is an initiative to promote welfare of the society while at the same time giving budding entrepreneurs a platform to realize their dreams. Samadhan is built up on the idea that national growth can only be achieved if we take a balanced approach for economic and social upliftment. For last three years, Samadhan has been encouraging the concept of social entrepreneurship successfully.

Entrepreneurship is about identifying problems and solving them. Samadhan gives an opportunity to the young minds of our nation to come up with solutions to these problems while at the same time exploiting the potential hidden within this huge segment. It strives to provide innovative and sustainable solutions to the constraints faced by rural communities.
